The Purple Martin is one of the largest swallows, but considered an "aerial acrobat" with extreme speed and agility in flight, and when approaching their housing, will dive from the sky with their wings tucked at great speeds.

The Purple Martin is highly sought and considered a special bird that migrates from North America to South America at the same stations every year, enjoying the best of two very different worlds.
